Whaddup nerds. It's me. Dan Amaro. I come from the desert out in Arizona, where I grew up drawing a whole bunch of stuff in or on notebooks while being a huge dork. Eventually, I said f*** the heat, and I moved to New York City, to finally become a ninja turtle. I've done stand-up, played music, acted, painted, drawn, and even shot a bow and arrow once. So in other words, I tend to do what I love. And I love Art.

These are my doodles, my drawings, and my paintings. Pieces that I'm particularly proud of, pieces that reflect my skill and growth as an artist. Hours and hours spent behind each one, learning more and more about design, technique, and most importantly, PATIENCE.

I specialize in portraiture, especially pets, as well as cartoon style/comic book illustration. I've watched too many movies and shows, so a lot of my pieces tend to revolve around pop culture. But I'm sure if you're reading this, you might also be a fan of Star Trek, Spider-Man, and Xena, so we're probably on the same page.
